Donahue Real Estate Advisors provides commercial real estate services to tenants in the Pittsburgh market and surround areas. Being a tenant-only representation firm allows us to provide completely transparent service and avoid the conflicts of interest that arise from representing both sides of a transaction.

Jack Donahue

President

Jack Donahue is the founder, owner, and president of Donahue Real Estate Advisors.

Prior to founding Donahue Real Estate Advisors, Jack began his career at the Pittsburgh office of Grubb & Ellis Company where he spent 15 years representing both landlords and tenants. Next was a stint in North Carolina with Highwoods Properties, a REIT headquartered in Raleigh which developed, owned, and leased its portfolio of class A office and flex properties in and around the Research Triangle.  This was followed by a move back to Pittsburgh where he spent 10 years in the brokerage department of Oxford Development Company.

Since forming Donahue Real Estate Advisors in 2010, the firm has become one of the most respected independent tenant representation and real estate advisory firms in southwestern Pennsylvania.  Jack has always instituted trust, integrity, and the highest ethical standards in the way he conducts business for his clients.

With dozens of satisfied clients, Jack has negotiated numerous real estate transactions for office and commercial leases totaling nearly 1,000,000 square feet over the last decade. Jack’s knowledge of the Pittsburgh real estate market combined with his familiarity with key players and building owners in the region makes him a valuable source to assist any organization seeking professional real estate services.

Jack is active in his community serving Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh and was recently elected to the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Pine, a suburb north of Pittsburgh. 

Jack began his studies at the University of Dayton and earned a bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Jack and his wife live in Gibsonia, a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. They have a blended family of three daughters and one son.  He and his wife enjoy travel throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. A supporter of multiple charitable organizations in the Pittsburgh area, Jack also is an avid trap shooter and fly fisherman.

Alex Lehman

Associate


Alex is the newest member of the Donahue Real Estate Advisors team, and he brings with him astorehouse of knowledge and expertise, including:
  • Tenant representation
  • Market research/site selection
  • Lease/financial analysis
  • Real estate portfolio optimization
  • Lease negotiations
  • Real Estate Strategy Development
Alex has several years’ experience under his belt, having worked at the Pittsburgh office of CBRE. Where Alex provided ongoing management of real estate transaction activities for portfolio of properties on behalf of corporate clients or for individual transactions. He prepared, recommended, and implemented a transaction strategy and coordinated field resources and other stakeholders to execute lease renewals, new site acquisitions, disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sale renewals, early lease termination, and more. Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from American University, and currently is pursuing his MBA in business administration at Duquesne University. Alex is a Pittsburgh native, and he is passionate about the region. He is also an enthusiastic sports fan. Alex is avid about working out by either running, playing tennis, platform tennis or doing a workout. He is always training for his next half marathon. Alex desires to be a catalyst for its continued growth and is looking to serve existing and new clients.
